What are the Highlights of the Everest Base Camp Trek?

The Everest Base Camp Trek starts from Kathmandu. As a matter of fact, the trip includes a Kathmandu Valley Sightseeing tour. You will tour the major UNESCO World Heritage Sites of the city. In particular, you will visit revered Hindu and Buddhist temples and monasteries. It also includes the city’s old palace complex. 

 

You will then experience a short beautiful flight to Lukla. The short flight is like an adventure itself. In contrast to the hustle and bustle of Kathmandu, Lukla offers a fresh Himalayan surrounding. You can enjoy the green rolling hills and the distant views of the mountains once you arrive in Lukla.

 

The Everest Base Camp Trek then takes you through many famous Sherpa villages and settlements. It not only includes Namche Bazaar, but also villages like Tengboche and Dingboche among many. In like manner, you will be going through the Sagarmatha National Park. It is a UNESCO Natural World Heritage Site.

 

Similarly, you will be constantly in the company of the Himalayas.
