Artechouse

Artechouse NYC from Exist Travels on Vimeo.

Machine Hallucination, Anadol’s first large-scale installation in New York City is a mixed reality experiment deploying machine learning algorithms on a dataset of over 300 million images—representing a wide-ranging selection of architectural styles and movements—to reveal the hidden connections between these moments in architectural history. As the machine generates a data universe of architectural hallucinations in 1025 dimensions, we can begin to intuitively understand the ways that memory can be spatially experienced and the power of machine intelligence to both simultaneously access and augment our human senses. By embedding photography with machine intelligence a new latent cinematic experience is born, one that narrates the fluid consciousness of a city and displays cultural information in a way that allows us to realize the complex fabric that unfolds our present realities.

In addition to the Observation Decks, your visit includes the new entrance on 34th street, a two-story building model, self-service ticketing kiosks available in nine languages, the restored lobby with its stunning art deco ceiling murals and the historical Dare To Dream Exhibit.

Find yourself in the center of it all, above it all, when you visit the Empire State Building’s open-air 86th Floor Observation Deck. As the most famous observatory in the world, the 86th Floor has been the setting of dozens of movie and television scenes, as well as tens of millions of unforgettable personal moments.

The Observation Deck wraps around the building’s spire, providing 360-degree views of New York and beyond. From up here, you’ll get one-of-a-kind views of Central Park, The Hudson River, and East River, The Brooklyn Bridge, Times Square, The Statue of Liberty, and much more. This historic world-famous landmark in Midtown Manhattan is not simply a transportation hub—it’s also a shopping, dining, and cultural destination with 60 shops, 35 places to eat, and a full calendar of events all under one magnificent roof.

Opened to the public in February 1913, Grand Central Terminal is a story of great engineering, survival, and rebirth. In 1978, architect Philip Johnson and First Lady Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis campaigned to secure landmark status for the Terminal, ensuring the building would serve New Yorkers for generations to come.

    Central Park

Central Park is an urban park in Manhattan, New York City, located between the Upper West Side and the Upper East Side. Central Park is the most visited urban park in the United States, with an estimated 37.5–38 million visitors annually, and one of the most filmed locations in the world.

Set within the footprints of the original Twin Towers, each pool is approximately 1-acre in size.
